DC is soliciting the second issue of the mini-series for October.
DC Comics is co-publishing with marvel Comics the sophomore chapter in the most anticipated super-hero crossover in comic book history with the 48 page Avengers/JLA #2 (AUG030203D1), solicited in the DC Comics section of the August PREVIEWS.

The Superman Racing theme is a yearlong collaborative program created by Action Performance Companies, DC Comics, and Warner Bros. The paint schemes of the cars portray the Superman shield and an image of Krypton's Last Son flying fist forward with a look of steely determination upon his face.
First: DC has announced that Millar will be leaving the book later this year, and called his run "critically acclaimed." As a critic I take issue with that since it took Millar a while to hit his stride.

In the Post-Crisis DC Universe, Atom-Master was assembled as one of the Forgotten Villains again, this time acting as agents of Vandal Savage in a search for fragments of the primordial meteor that gave both Savage and Forgotten Heroes' leader Immortal Man their powers and immortality.
Meanwhile, the Flash met the Flash of Earth-D face-to-face for the first time, where he found that he himself was a comic book character on this world and had inspired Tanaka Rei to take up the identity of the Flash (much in the same fashion as Jay Garrick had inspired him).
The characters where shown to be in Limbo (along with the Gay Ghost, Inferior Five, Ultra the Multi-Alien, the Space Canine Patrol Agents, and many other semi-forgotten DC characters), and were trying to buy their way out from anyone who happened to come by from the outside.

In the mid-80's crossover "Crisis on Infinite Earths" DC basically killed the old DC Universe and started all over with a new continuity.
I believe "The Source" is DC Comics version of "God".
But then DC has had a change of heart and made Birthright which now powers Superman close to pre-crisis but not all the way there yet.

As flip commentary on the probable social dysfunctionality of people who get into the habit of amassing things like comics, movies, toys, etc., this is probably dead on, but it seems kind of foolish in the context of this issue...

Late in 1976, DC embarked on a second, more successful flashback to the Golden Age in WONDER WOMAN (#228-243) to reflect the World War Two time period of the Lynda Carter television show.
As the Crisis On Infinite Earths was bearing down on the DC Universe in 1985, the Duke of Deception was granted a brief half-page biography in WHO'S WHO #7.
The Duke of Deception has not been sighted in the modern DC Universe but that does not mean he no longer exists.

The beings Krona is observing are (left) the physical manifestation of Eternity in the Marvel Universe (first appeared in Strange Tales (1st series) #138) and (right) the physical manifestation of Kismet in the DC Universe (first appeared in Adventures of Superman #494).
