He's also shown turning turtles on their backs for fun, which goes to show how simple-minded "Kiss of the Dragon" really is -- Nahon seems to need such idiotic contrivances to give the movie any flavor at all.

Fonda, unfortunately, never gets her footing, fumbling wildly to bring life to an inconsistent, underwritten role needlessly tacked on for no other reason than to feature a female lead in what would otherwise have been a decidedly "male" movie.
   For all its reliance on cliché and borrowed style, there are some refreshingly original aspects to "Kiss of the Dragon" that fans of the genre will welcome, most notably Li's strategic use of acupuncture needles to immobilize adversaries.

Romeo Must Die was a lackluster introduction to mainstream American audiences, and even disappointed long-time fans, primarily due to its style of showing Li's martial arts skills in short flashes, over-edited, CGI- and wire-aided.
Kiss of the Dragon attempts to get back to the basics, serving up hearty portions of Li in action against a legion of evil foes with lots of gunfire and explosions.
Kiss of the Dragon offers action in the form of a very high kick-to-word-of-dialog ratio, but anyone expecting much in the way of plot, character, or logic will be kicking only themselves - for buying a ticket.

The plot of Kiss of the Dragon is the classic Jackie Chan/Police Story gambit of a Beijing supercop being lent to some backwards and racist first-world huckleberry government to protect/avenge some Chinese national whilst being framed for said national's lack of protection/demise.
Kiss of the Dragon is a comic book movie of brutal violence (Jet is one of the few martial artists who punches like he means it), awkward machismo dialogue, and an exceedingly bare plot progression.

Kiss of the Dragon is basically a martial arts movie set in modern day France where Jet Li gets to show off his martial arts talents.
We were surprised at one little detail, the level of violence that is. It was comparable to what you have in HK or Japanese action movies, it is good they did not hold back anything as it would have just hurt the movie.
All in all with the good and the bad Kiss of the Dragon was a pretty cool movie.
