		Kista is a (One of the administrative divisions of a large city) borough of the city of (The capital and largest city of Sweden; located in southern Sweden on the Baltic) Stockholm in (A Scandinavian kingdom in the eastern part of the Scandinavian Peninsula) Sweden.

		She had originally been named Kista Dan and was very well known for a history of exploration including a number of voyages with the leader of the first Trans Antarctic expedition in 1956, Sir Vivian Fuchs (who, incidentally, was on the Executive Committee of our expedition).
		The Kista Dan had also starred in the film 'Hell below Zero' with Alan Ladd.
		When I found her in 1979, she had become the Martin Karlsen and was owned by the Karlsen Shipping Company in Halifax.
