Kiveton will look back at this game and be feeling hard done by because they didn’t take all three points, but credit to Teversal who were well under par but they showed some dogged determination to leave Hard Lane with a point.
It was newly promoted Kiveton who started the better of the two teams and within the first minute they created a great chance when Carl Holmes strong run and cross put the visitors under pressure, with Flint heading behind for a corner.
With their earlier dominance and workmanlike performance you would say that Kiveton possible edged the game, but Teversal showed some character not to buckle and must be thankful they received a hard earned point, when they could have easily ended up with nothing.
