		The data suggest that the peak fluoride concentrations that were measured in the peripheral blood may not be good predictors of nephrotoxic potential after sevoflurane anesthesia in such patients.
		Concerns emanate from the metabolism of sevoflurane to inorganic fluoride, which, in the case of methoxyflurane, was associated with postoperative renal toxicity and also from the potential for toxicity of the sevoflurane breakdown product Compound A, which is nephrotoxic in rats.
		Although the authors claim that peak fluoride concentration after sevoflurane may not be a good predictor of nephrotoxicity in those with renal insufficiency, the peak serum fluoride of 25.0 plus/minus 2.2 muM was really too low to support such a conclusion.

		It's obvious that I don't read Disinformation enough - I missed this sad story about a recent internecine Dead Kennedys event - the rest of the band v jello biafra & Alternative Tentacles.
		Evidently Jello refused to allow Levis to use Holiday in Cambodia for a jeans ad, so East Bay Ray, Klaus Fluoride and Peligro sued his ass, alleging that he wasn't promoting their back catalogue enough as head of ATR.
