Kimberly-Clark consciously places the terminology "brand tissues" after "Kleenex" in all of their advertising so as to inform the general public that Kleenex is a brand of tissue, not the actual term for "tissue".

LiLiPUT - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
LiLiPUT were an Swiss female post-punk/new wave band active from 1978 to 1983.
The group formed in 1978 under the name Kleenex, and soon made a name for themselves, until the threat of legal action by Kimberly-Clark in 1979 prompted a change of name to LiLiPUT (Kleenex being a propietry brand of tampon in Switzerland).
The band's sound underwent a change throughout their career, due in part to line-up changes; the earlier recordings are more noisy and energetic, while the later songs are more complex and haunting.

When the band leaves the stands for its half time performance, chaperones are to cordon off the stands with the yellow roping (if needed) so that the band can pass without interference from fans coming down the aisle.
If any of the band members need to leave the stands during the game, (other than during the 3rd quarter) they must be accompanied by a chaperone - for their safety.

The debut from Zurich's Kleenex was this four-song EP, which was released only seven months after the band formed.
They were a post-punk band that existed after the Pop Group's breakup in the early '80s.
Not only did they bravely (or foolishly, you be the judge) leap into the fray with little, if any, musical ability (on their debut tour with the Clash, Mick Jones used to tune their guitars for them), but through sheer emotion and desire created some great music.

Pop music — and when a band sells millions of albums, they are are making pop music — is about new audiences getting excited about bands they can feel are their own.

SPACE CITY ROCK: CD/7" Reviews (K)
One of the contingent of bohemian artistes (rather than thugs) who were attracted to the creative liberties laid bare by punk, Kleenex (the band's pre-lawsuit moniker) fell in with the glorious noise that was suddenly, obviously possible.
The band's early sides, which were more or less in line with the low-fi punk of the day, took relatively sparse advantage of that adventurousness, which eventually seeped into the instrumental foundation of the songs and began taking center stage as LiLiPUT evolved and added a "post-" to their punk.
Most of the band's later material, beginning with the start of disc two, seems to be without movement and dynamics in the traditional sense.

A lucky few on this side of the pond savored the warbly, riotous staccato of woman-powered, agit-scratched Liliput, whose mysterious contribution to the history of rock & roll, while rich in influence and significance, remained, for the most part, relegated to the bins of obscurity.
