We visited Knowsley Safari Park yesterday - we usually go there a few times a year, for me to take photos and see the sealions (sealions being my most favourite animal).
There were 3 lanes of traffic, bumber to bumber going around the 5 mile park, so after queuing for 2 hrs just to get in and see the lions in the first pen, we skipped down all the short routes we could find to just get out of there.
Once we'd parked up, we got to see the sealions, and could walk around and see the meercats, giraffes and elephants.
