Knud Johan Victor Rasmussen (June 7, 1879–December 21, 1933) was a Greenlandic polar explorer and anthropologist.
This trip was dramatized in the 2006 Canadian film The Journals of Knud Rasmussen.
He was also patron of the first long polar movie "SOS Iceberg" (starring Leni Riefenstahl).

The other artist Knut Asdam presented two works - the video installation Psychastenia 3 in the basement hall of CAC and a radio play in the main hall.

Danish journalist, writer, and explorer, who established with Knud Rasmussen (1879-1933) the exploring station in Thule (1910).
Freuchen made his first expedition to Greenland in 1906, and then he took part in several expeditions from 1910 to 1924, often traveling with the famous Polar explorer Knut Rasmussen.

The narrative below was told by an Inuit named Qaqortingneq to the European explorer Knut Rasmussen during his expedition of 1921-24.
