The Kojima Productions logo is that of the FOX unit from Metal Gear Solid 3.
On April 1, 2005, after Konami merged several of its subsidiaries, Kojima's team at Konami Computer Entertainment Japan was transformed into "Kojima Productions." With this new team, Kojima is no longer burdened with the business management and administrative responsibilities he had as KCEJ's vice president, and thus is able to focus solely on creating games.

As GameSpot reported earlier, Kojima Productions fundamentally consists of the same developers that were previously at the Konami Computer Entertainment Japan development studio.
That studio was merged into headquarters at the beginning of this business year, which means not only is Kojima no longer president of a Konami subsidiary, but he'll also be able to concentrate working on his games solely as a creator, something both he his fans are excited about.

A new Konami development force, Kojima Productions is named after and headed up by Hideo Kojima, creator of the Metal Gear Solid and Boktai series.

Kojima didn't exactly QUIT Konami--Kojima productions is basically a subsidiary of Konami--think of it like how Konami had Ultra Games.
And Kojima Productions is basically just a development team within the company known as Konami.
Anyway, Kojima hinted strongly at E3 what the premise for MGS4 would be, and given that this premise is "disguises", I wouldn't necessarily trust the identity of anyone who's been "confirmed" just yet.

Hideo Kojima: I regret to say, not a big change for me personally in the workflow that has remained after Kojima Productions was formed.
But now in Kojima Productions under the Konami group umbrella, I can now make use of Konami's total human resources, equipment, funding, which is much much greater than it was in the KCEJ days.
Kojima Productions has this philosophy that we want to be the first in everything regarding new technology.

Bad news for Metal Gear fans -- from the sound of things, Hideo Kojima has no intentions of bringing E3 favorite Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to the Xbox 360.
Kojima told Official Xbox Magazine that he feels the Metal Gear series is "made for for PlayStation platform." While his development studio, Kojima Productions, is working on Xbox 360 titles, these will be all-new games that are set outside of Metal Gear -- that's according to Computer and Video Games magazine.
The first metal gear was easily the best, so no matter what they do to the franchise, I dont think they could beat how good the first one was.

[update 1: A poster on ps3forum, Aleman360, decompiled the flash file and claims to have found the culprit: an Apple product with smoke floating down on it.
