After Noel Pix joined the band as the keyboarder, their music started to show more of an industrial influence.
The band's first example of this step towards industrial metal would be their third album, Kopfschuss.
In October 2002, vocalist Alexx Wesselsky announced that he would be leaving the band because of creative differences, but he would finish the current tour.

I think it’s more emotion, it’s darker, it’s colder and that is the reason why it is called Eisbrecher.
What I meant was that the Megaherzalbums“Kopfschuss” and “Himmelfahrt” have much more electronic components and elements in the music.
“Kopfschuss” had these electronic elements, and Eisbrecher could be — if you look at it this way — if Megaherz would have followed the electronic aspects, it could have — maybe — developed into the direction of Eisbrecher.

Comment: To be fair, I don't understand German crisply so I'm focused more on the music and the tone/delivery of the lyrics.
Given that, I think Kopfschuss is a letdown follow-up to Eins (aka Wer Bist Du), which delivers more guitar-driven songs with attitude and some variety, and I think really excellent.
I also prefer Himmelfahrt because there is a bit more variation in the songs - not quite so repetitive.

They play different styles of music and thus should be evaluated independently of each other.
The thing I listen for in songs by Megaherz is their chorus, after hearing Kopfschuss...
I gotta admit though, they aren't bad, there are a couple of songs on Himmelfahrt and Kopfschuss (the 2 albums i bought) have their own original sound to them.

When I first got the idea for doing this, I didn’t know kopfschuss had any meaning other than the most literal one: “headshot.” But apparently it’s specific to suicide, and I would assume doing so with a gun (and in the off chance somebody fluent in German is reading this, feel free to email me).
So in one sense, the video makes sense: You see a head shot everytime “Kopfschuss!” is said.
[8230;] Megaherz - Kopfschuss (45.8 MB) - Description: I originally put this up awhile back and made a post about it, but not long after I did I lost my server space so it kinda disappeared.
It was the first and very beginning stage of the development of their new musical style, much as Wer Bist Du was for Megaherz.
The secondalbum is "II - The Final Option" and it developed the style further, just like Megaherz's"Kopfschuss"album.
Then came the "pinnacle" album of the development of this musical style for Die Krupps, with the third series album "III - Odyssey of the Mind", which can be related to the "pinncale" of Megaherz's "early" style with synth in the album "Himmelfahrt".
