South Korean patrol boats fired warning shots early Sunday at a North Korean fishing boat that violated the South’s territorial waters in the Yellow Sea.
The North Korean craft ignored the order, and when one patrol boat moved to within 50 yards of the fishing boat, the North Korean fishermen hurled torches and brandished knives and steel pipes, the spokesman said.
A North Korean patrol boat did fire a warning shot at a South Korean fishing boat May 27 after it ventured north of the original line to retrieve a fishing net.

I've recently got a hold of another one of those old open-edged Made in Pakistan butterfly knives (for < $1) and I wanted to see if anybody knows much about 'em (i.e when they were made, etc).
I don't know much about their pins, but I've never had them break on me. I'm not saying that they are great knives (or even good knives), but IMHO they're better than a lot of the CCCs out there.
Though I've never seen a Korean balisong since I sold that one, I did see a few made in Japan that were very similar, and one had those characters plus the word "Kamikaze" written out.
