		Korsun Pocket is an excellent game, is compelling and addictive for anyone interested in deep strategy games, and is easily the best 2D wargame for the PC to date.
		Korsun Pocket re-creates the epic WWII battle in early 1944 in which the Russians attempted to encircle and destroy one of the few remaining German strongholds on the eastern front.
		The beauty of Korsun Pocket is that you aren't forced to understand all of these to learn to play, but their significance is revealed as you learn to win.

		Korsun Pocket does an excellent job in presenting all of the data and rules in a clear and concise fashion.
		If there's any room for criticism in Korsun Pocket, it's that the sound is weak (the music is downright strange at times), the graphics less than eye popping, and the fact that in the end this is really just a simulation of one battle and not an entire campaign.
		Because Korsun Pocket is so easy to get into, it places the emphasis on actually playing the game and having a good time rather than studying pages full of charts and manually crunching numbers in order to figure out the best way to attack a tank division.

	Wargames Board - Against the AI in Korsun & Rzhev
		Korsun would also have the Soviets attacking the Germans, but they are on the run, if I understand the situation correctly.
		I playtested Korsun and yes, the operational/tactical situations on both sides in the campaign is too tough for the AI to handle well.
		That is not to say Korsun is not a good title, it is, but out of the two Rzhev is the best I think.

		There was a recent post by a person who bought the Korsun and took it to a dealer to compare it to the Red Rose.
		The Korsun I compared against the Rosette was modded by Andy but you have to realize that the cost of the original amp and the mod does not even come close to what Levinson is charging for the Rosette.......
		OK here is what the Korsun webpage told: At the 2nd row of the product pictures, the 2nd one from the left is named u2(I fail to get the exact letter from the keyboard so I use 'u'), an integrated amp.......

		yeah, a lot of people have asked Mark Levinson about this, and he said he does use the same factory as the Korsun but that everything is produced "to his elevated standards" etc. etc.
		i know of one person who actually took a Korsun he modded a little (just parts substitutions) to a Red Rose dealer and A-B'ed them, and they did sound a little different (parts differences?) but they were about equally good.
		Korsun's retail price for the U2 is 1,560 Yuan, not Hong Kong dollars.
