Dudh Kosi (दुध कोसी, Milk River) is a river in eastern Nepal.
Continuing south, the Dudh Kosi exits Sagarmatha National Park and passes to the west of Lukla.
The Lamding Khola joins the Dudh Kosi to the southwest of Surkya and continues its southerly course to Harkapur, where it joins the Sun Kosi river.

Many operators moved on to permanent tented camps on the river bank and one such project opened in autumn 1999 was David Allardice's Last Resort, offering mountain related activities as well as rafting and kayaking.
Often the river is not run early season (September) and trips begin in Mid to late October depending on rain levels and the departure of the monsoon..

The entry point of the Kosi navigation canal into the Ganges river is near the tail end of the Ganges river where the depth and widths of the river channel are expected to be adequate for relatively big river vessels.
The Kosi navigation canal would have to be planned to take vessels plying in the lower reach of the Ganges, as a result, it would be far bigger in size by comparison with similar canals along the Gandak or the Karnali rivers falling into the Upper Reach Ganges.
The size of the Kosi navigation canal and its related structures such as the lock system should be determined in conformity with the size already adopted by India in design of the Farakka barrage navigation system which corresponds to the recommended size in Europe.
