As an automobile junkie, it appears that Kosuke Fujishima is able to draw almost any form of automobile and mechanical object, their parts (nuts, bolts, chains, spark plugs, etc.) and even their modified versions with intense accuracy.

Oh My Goddess! - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Originally a fairly typical magical girlfriend romantic comedy, it has grown to feature a lot more action over time, and of recent years has put a greater focus on developing the mystical aspects of the world it is set in.
The manga was first published in 1988 as a spinoff from the manga You're Under Arrest (逮捕しちゃうぞ, Taiho Shichauzou); Fujishima had added a four-panel gag strip to You're Under Arrest in which the main characters prayed to a goddess.
The gag was very popular, and Fujishima liked the look of his drawings of the goddess so he began drawing a full-fledged manga for the goddess.

It's to Fujishima's credit that he is able to portray this bond without making it seem cheap or forced.
Fujishima's art is gorgeous, of course, but his approach to framing his subject is a little different from a lot of other artists.

Although our heroines, Miyuki and Natsumi, and the motley crew of oddballs at their precinct do tangle with the occasional yakuza or car thief, for the most part the police stuff is kept light and fluffy — as a matter of fact, sometimes our intrepid policewomen act more like adventurous private citizens than public officials.
Fujishima's line work is clean and his layouts are clear and unconfusing.
Fujishima does his two favorite subjects, cute girls and fast vehicles, quite a bit of justice here.

 Everyone's Tea Room: Introduction
In 1988, Fujishima did a four panel comic short as art of a contest where readers could win loads of Taiho Shichauzo (You're Under Arrest) merchandise.
However, the story goes that when it was pointed out to Kosuke Fujishima about the similarity of the title to the English expression of "Oh, my God!", which was what he was trying to do in the first place, the official English title for the series became "Oh My Goddess!".
Megamisama".When Animeigo and Studio Proteus brought in Kosuke Fujishima's goddess series, they decided that they would work together during the launch of the series, so they decided that the name would be "Oh My Goddess!" the official logo as it appeared in the Animeigo OVA release looked like this:

Frankly, this is a worst case scenario, and I really hate to rip on Fujishima because of all the fine manga work he's done but it is a valid question.
I like Fujishima's work but I read AMG because of the characters not specifically the author, so if someone takes over but retains the style...then no problems for me there.
If Kosuke died, I would think that the series would be stopped or most likely someone continue it on on Kosuke notes..

is top notch design by Kôsuke Fujishima — the hallmark exquisite wet ink shading and highly detailed costumes and settings — but fans might be a bit surprised with what's presented in this volume.
Fujishima has always had a wonderful hand for cars and motorcycles (it's one of his hobbies, he owns 10 motorcycles and cars combined) but Belldandy has undergone a transformation from her initial inception (as a one-shot character for a contest associated with the artist's other series, You're Under Arrest).
Most people are more familiar with the later, fine-lined design, since it graces a great deal of merchandise, and might be taken aback by the earlier version which had very pronounced features and high contrast coloring.

Lack of an overarching plot is not a detriment here: it allows Fujishima to be more playful with his characters, and the whole cast is a lot of fun (though Urd often steals the page, as it were).
His mastery over his art style clearly developed as the series progressed; the differences between the very earliest art and this art are quite striking.
