This Swedish satanic-metal project was masterminded by the enigmatic multi-instrumentalist Quothorn.

Despite the inevitable comparisons this has much more in common with the Bathory who were instrumental in shaping modern fl metal to begin with.
The mystery of who are the people playing bass and drums for Quorthon in the studio is still here, but am I correct in assuming that it’s Kothaar and Vvornth?
The backbone of the music sounds it did on Twilight and Hammerheart.
