	Timo Kotipelto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Timo Kotipelto (born March 15, 1969) is the vocalist of the Finnish power metal band Stratovarius.
		He studied vocals at the pop/jazz conservatory in Helsinki, briefly singing for an amateur cover band named Filthy Asses.
		In late 2003, Kotipelto split from Stratovarius after intra-band disagreements, notably with guitarist Timo Tolkki.

		A great track in which Kotipelto amazes me by a very melodic refrain after the power-riff shown in the strophe!
		Comparing to the previous album, Kotipelto shows a better compositive approach also concerning lyrics, but just for this reason I'm sure he can still improve under all aspects, but on the whole I can't but say that this is an interesting album not only for power-metal fans.

		Short of ripping Kotipelto to shreds, I honestly don't know what else can be said, so I will end my review on this note - If you're a fan of the newer Stratovarius material, then Coldness may suit your fancy, but it's doubtful.
		PLus, by all indicators, Kotipelto is the vocalist for Stratovarius again, with many news reports referring to him as "Stratovarius vocalist" and not "ex-Stratorvarus vocalist".

		I will admit I was a little disappointed at first with the lack of speedy solos from Romeo but now I realize that his typical Neo-Classical shredding would sound totally out-of-place here.
		The reason I gave it four stars is because of its lack of originality - however, that does not mean there is a lack of quality.

		The first Kotipelto album was good, but this one isn't really as creative.
		The first two songs are great, but then, nothing new really, there aren't any interesting instrumental parts, I must say the only thing that kept this album from completely bombing was the fact that Kotipelto's voice is of course very good (maybe the fact that the album isn't that long either).
		Having purchased and enjoyed the first Kotipelto cd, I was very much looking forward to the release of this one.
