		There are as many as 48 quarries, 62 crushing units in Kovvur mandal and and 22 crushing units and 21 quarry units in Devarapalli mandal, providing livelihood to 2,000 families.
		RDO Venkata Reddy said he would soon convene a meeting with the members of the quarry and crushers' association to discuss the provision of basic amenities in the areas inhabited by quarry workers.
