 Family research in Posen
On this site I would like to present some results of my, K. Hartfiel’s and J. Nickel’s research in Kreis Schubin, Bromberg and Hohensalza in the form of excerpts from LDS films.
For other researchers in this region the excerpt of the marriage register index of the evangelical parish of Groß Neudorf (Nowa Wies Wielka) as well as the entries of marriages in the civil registry of Kirschgrund (Leszyce) may be of interest.
A listing in tables similar to those presented here would be very helpful.

My earliest ancestor was Michael Friedrich Bartelt who married Wilhemine Grutzmacher on Dec 6, 1846 in Priemhausen, kreis naugard, Pomm, Prussia.
Want to find: Christian Friedrich August's father and grandfather Carl Heinrich Friedrich Ahrndt, the oldest son, whom I believe remained in Prussia (probably Krusemarkshagen) when the parents and all other living children came to USA (on the "Donau", Hamburg 1 Nov 1854 to New York 19 Dec 1854).
July 1760 in Büssow, Kreis Schlawe, Pommern and died 18 November 1824 in Büssow, Kreis Schlawe.
