Kreskin, of course, correctly "divined" the message, but NCAS members later recovered the scraps while Kreskin was backstage, compared the handwriting on the message to Kreskin's own, and published their findings (with photos) in their Winter 1990-91 Skeptical Eye.
Kreskin lined up the five items across the desktop, and after having Fountain momentarily close her eyes as he passed his hand in front of her face (adding an element of 'mysticism' to the proceedings), he asked her to "touch one of the items" (she picked up the ring).

Kreskin I hope takes some responsiblity on his claims and follows through with his offer to donate the $50,000 to charity - unlike what I am hearing, reports now that he is claiming he doesn't have to offer his claim because several people saw "something" proving his suggestive "powers".
Kreskin - nobody saw any UFOs - your claim of UFOs appearing was not legitimate by any standard - the disclaimers you are stating now support an agenda to mislead the public - you need to stick with your word and give your donation.
