Kreuzweg Ost hail from Austria and this is their debut work, clearly indicating their penchant for the hymnic and apocaliptyc while hammering the listener with bit-crushed martial percussion and equally distorted ambience backdrops.
Kreuzweg Ost is, anyway, a very interesting and quite original project, that, with a few possible adjustments, could gain an outstanding position inside the orchestral/military industrial area.
Kreuzweg Ost is the latest band to join the Cold Spring family of martial industrialists and they have earned there place amongst their peers with their debut album Edelrost.

 Cold Spring Records: Kreuzweg Ost
Kreuzweg Ost, founded in 2000 by well known Austrian underground musicians Michael Gregor and Martin Schirenc, released their first album “Iron Avantgarde” in 2001 on Napalm Records.
Kreuzweg Ost’s concept is about making musical translations of various movies dealing with military or religios topics.
Work is underway for Kreuzweg Ost's 3rd album, to be released on Cold Spring in 2008.
