The planet Krikkit is located in a dust cloud composed chiefly of the disintegrated remains of the enormous spaceborne computer Hactar.
Unbeknownst to the Krikkiters, Hactar had been subliminally conditioning their minds to the point where they could not accept a Universe into their world view with the intention of putting them into a similar mindset to that of the Silastic Armorfiends.
However, a Krikkit warship carrying deadly white robots of the kind used in the war escaped before the envelope was sealed, and, within a brief ten billion years, managed to reassemble the Wikkit Gate.

The people of Krikkit were surrounded by a Dust Cloud, their single sun with its single world, and they were right out on the utmost eastern edge of the galaxy.
The profoundness of the shock and horror they emanated a few moments later when the burning wreckage of a spaceship came hurtling and screaming out of the sky and crashed about half a mile from where they were standing was something that you had to be there to experience.
This is the only explanation anyone has yet managed to come up with for the unimaginable speed with which the people of Krikkit had pursued their new and absolute purpose- the destruction of everything that wasn't Krikkit.

Krikkit Wars - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Krikkit Wars were a fictional war in the universe of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, as featured in the novel Life, the Universe and Everything.
It later realized that it was not its place to make such decisions and nurtured the Krikkiters to arrive at the same state of mind as the Armorfiends by building a spaceship, crashing it onto their planet, and subconsciously aiding them in repairing it.
In a very short time, xenophobia overwhelmed the Krikkiters and, again unknowingly assisted by Hactar, they designed a massive fleet of battle cruisers and a huge army of deadly white robots declared war on the rest of the galaxy they inhabited.

OFF THE SHELF - "Life, the Universe and Everything" : Legends Magazine, Issue 87
The Krikkit people led a peaceful life on their planet around which was a dark cloud you could not see through.
Eventually after wreaking a good deal of havoc the Krikkits were caught and sentenced to spend the rest of the Universe's life in a time envelope to be released after the Universe is gone so that they truly could be alone…a just decision.
But their robot forces still at large began the campaign of finding the items, scattered throughout the Universe, that were needed to reconstruct the key that can unlock the time envelope and re-begin the Krikkit's campaign against everything and anything.

Places in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The planet Krikkit is (at the beginning of Life, the Universe, and Everything) located in a dust cloud composed chiefly of the disintegrated remains of the enormous spaceborne computer Hactar.
The Wikkit Gate, the key that would unlock the envelope, was disintegrated into time, and could therefore not be used to free the planet from the envelope ahead of time.
Krikkit also managed to leave other marks besides the destruction of numerous worlds: due to racial memories, the Earth sport of cricket and the pan-dimensional sport of Brockian Ultra-Cricket were based on the Krikkit Wars.

There is an urban legend that he was once lying drunk in the middle of a field in a town called Ashlington that's somewhere in Europe, when he suddenly thought up the idea of writing a book called The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
That is only somewhat true--he was lying in a field, but he wasn't drunk, he just happened to get abducted by aliens from the planet Krikkit.
From there he travelled to many places in outer space, and during his time there he kept a diary of all his experiences and all the secrets of the universe that he learned along the way.
