		i had an army of 12 krogoth before and was pumping them out every two minutes and i've still seen them defeated by oversized arm bases.
		It also give the arm krogoth class k-bots, the arm also gets a more varied attack force than the core, not that the core doesn't get some good stuff too.
		How can you live with it taking 20 minutes for a krogoth to be built, if you build the right kind of base they can be made in 1-3 minutes apice, I have had armies of the things before.

		The Krogoths weaponry is devistating to ANY unit that happens to cross its path.
		Always give the Krogoth Air cover, this is the Korgoths one weakness, also the Krogoth is Arachnaphobie (Afraid of Spiders) so don`t let any Spiders shoot him.

		One of the biggest problems I found right away was the speed of the attack, and all the units they leave you to start off with, the Brawlers in particular were no help, as they went after the Vamp that was bombing my troops.
		Once you get to the phase where Krogoths start attacking, then you are in a winnable state.
		I was trying to DT off the entrances, although this didn't seem to be helped much by the fact there is a lot of stuff trying to get through there with some missile weapons.

		The krogoth's only real devastating attack is the blue laser; one dirty tactic I like to do is share a few Moho Metal Makers in a discrete area of the map and laugh my arse off while the krogoth walks helplessly into a horde of mavs.
		Come to think of it, a krogoth seems to be more a psychological tool than a practical one.
		So as his Krogoth is coming in, and being murdered with heavy weapons and spiders, your missiles are on their way in, to decimate his base.

		All the world has to do is target the general water area that the Krogoth is walking along with the entire arsenal of nuclear weapons, and the explossive shockwaves would utterly shred the thing.

		Anyways, once the production is in full swing around the 45 minute mark and enough advanved construction planes are available the Krogoths just pop out of that Krogoth Gantry located in the most southern base in not time.
		as well as radar coverage in the area around your Krogoths they are pretty much devasting because their long range weapons will pick up any targt in range with support of the Targeting Facility.
		The Krogoth gang moves in around the 50 minutes mark, starting at the southern bridge end of the left center island.

		the Gantry and Krogoth are supposed to be from an extinct race - there is a story about how a gantry malfunctioned and out popped a bunch of Krog commanders and that was the end of core on that planet.
		I mean come on, the krogoth itself was just a kbot, (advanced to the core).
		well there had to be a defence against the krogoth, and 20 buzsaws work very well (that and nukes)....

		This in conjunction with changing the gauss arm cannons weapon from it's tertiary to secondary weapon position (units in TA support a maximum of three weapons) means that the UH Krogoths are brutal evil machines which easily shred units which get in close...

		Purpose: if you have a krogoth or krogoth type unit'(s) it should make it easy to destroy the krogoth with lv2 units or level3 units after weakining the krogoth with the purposed weapon (if not destroying it in the process)
		N ot to mention that the Krogoth is a really weak unit compared to the costs...
		Of course the real strength of a krogoth is not its power to cost ratio, but the concetration of firepower which allows it to break stalemates.
