Topic: Krunt Andersson

  Official Tad Morose website
Sefer Jezirah was formed by Krunt (Tad Morose), Charles (Morgana Lefay, Lefay) and Tommi (Morgana Lefay).
Krunt and Charles had been playing together in a other local band called Manifest (that band changed name pretty often) since the age of 15.
The music of Sefer Jezirah is something like a cross between Lefay and Tad Morose and some fans say that it's in the vein of Fates Warning, Crimson Glory, Savatage and that Sefer Jezirah was way ahead of their time and that's why they didn´t get any big recognition.

The band are a tight unit and Breed's voice easily glides between sweet soaring heights and grizzled, roughened lows.
The throbbing pulse is provided by Anders Modd on bass and the pounding percussion comes courtesy of Peter Morèn on drums (both who joined in 1994).
And despite what that might imply, there is just enough variation in Morèn's patten that keeps it from being the generic "bash bash bash," partly aided by Modd, Andersson and Olsson.

Observe that this is a project going on when they have some spear time and not working with their bands; Tad Morose, Morgana Lefay and God Awful Machine.
Sepher Jezirah was formed by Christer "Krunt" Andersson (Tad Morose), Charles "Chulle" Rytkönen (Morgana Lefay) and Tommi Karppanen (God Awful Machine and Ex Morgana Lefay member).
However, it was with Sepher Jezirah things started to happen, they grew a small but dedicated fan base around their hometown of Bollnäs.

TAD MOROSE guitarist Krunt: "Henrik approached us and said that he would like to do an animated video for Anubis and Urban, who knows this guy well, told us that he was pretty good with things like that, so we said: 'Hell yeah, do what ever you want'.
The future is bright: a funny thing about Tad Morose is that Christer "Krunt" Andersson (guitars) was elected by the local politicians to be Ambassador of their home town Bollnäs in Sweden!
A few years ago Anders Eriksson, who plays ice hockey for the Chicago Black Hawks in the NHL and Vicky Silvstedt, Playboy's Playmate of the Year were elected to do the Ambassadors job, too.

Album Review - Tad Morose - Modus Vivendi - RevelationZ Magazine
Other than a pseudo-ballad titled "Cyberdome" the record is a constant trust of melodic metal, also found in cuts like "Life in a Lonely Grave" and "Mother Shipton's Words," making this record undeniably one of the most stand out releases to come out of the power metal scene.
The record lacks all the overly progressive and symphonic connotations, creating a more in your face sound, perfect to compliment the guitar work of Krunt Andersson and Daniel Olsson, as well as the vocal chops of Urban Breed, whom sounds like a cross between a rougher Rob Halford and Matthew Barlow (formerly of Iced Earth).
Defiantly a feat for these guys, and lots of fans and metalheads will be impressed by this release, worth checking out.

THE METAL OBSERVER - Review - TAD MOROSE - Modus Vivendi
Ever since their beginnings I have been a very big fan of TAD MOROSE and for just as many years they in my opinion are one of those bands that never even remotely received the recognition that they more than would deserve for their releases.
Opener "Anubis" bears some Egyptian sounding melodies in the guitars (surprising with that title, eh?) and even though mid paced bristles with energy and has Krunt's trademark riffing as well as Urban Breed's as usual outstanding vocals, two of the very typical trademarks of the band sound.
Urban definitely is one of the best and most original singers of his trade, on "No Mercy" his powerful voice is full of vitality and elevates the song into unthought of heights, a dynamic song, driven forward by heavy guitars and culminating in a catchy and memorable chorus, great!

Metal Perspective - Tad Morose - Modus Vivendi
From the start you know what to expect from this release.
Excellent and solid guitar work from Christer Andersson and Daniel Olsson, that produce catchy and bombastic riffs enriched by a balanced and powerful rhythm section from the bassist Anders Modd and the drummer Peter Morèn.
But the thing I like most, is the exceptional heavy and raw but at the same time energetic, persuasive and melodic voice of Urban Breed that really elevates the whole project.

It now stands as Urban Breed (vocals), Christer Andersson (guitars), Anders Modd (bass), Peter Moren (Drums) and Daniel Olsson (Guitars).
Some parts of the CD have a definitive Savatage feel to them and guitarist Christer "Krunt" Andersson will be quick to cite the groups influencial nature as part of their sound.
The chorus is less catchy, and I'm sure it's meant to be that way, displaying Urban Breed's simply beautiful vocals over a soft acoustic piece and rhythmic drum work.

Formed in 1991 in Bollnas, Sweden, they went through several changes early on before finding success with the current lineup.
It features founding member Christer “Krunt” Andersson (guitar), Urban Breed (vocals), Daniel Olsson (guitar), Anders Modd (bass) and Peter Moren (drums).
Part of the reason for that success is frontman and songwriter Urban Breed (yes, that’s his real name), whose lyrics are intelligent and thought provoking.

Swedish Power Metallists Tad Morose redefine the face of heavy for a new generation, reminding us all what it meant when, in Halford's words, "the Wizard shook the world."
On the first spin of this disc I was impressed by several things: The quality and control of the playing, Peter Moren's tasteful power kick drums, the speed, fluency and suppleness of "Krunt" Andersson and Daniel Olsson's guitars, the supple lines of bassist Anders Modd.
Most of all, I was simply blown away by vocalist Urban Breed.
