Belgrade, July 10 - The ambassadors from Germany, Greece, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as the representatives of the British, French, Norwegian and US embassies have toured flood-ravaged areas in the municipalities of Valjevo, Osecina, Krupanj, and Loznica.
During a visit to the municipality of Krupanj, German Ambassador to Belgrade Joachim Schmidt said: "Humanitarian aid can be provided by German non-governmental organizations or the Red Cross, but the German Government can set aside funds only when presented with concrete projects."
Initial reports in the municipality of Loznica say that estimated damage caused to 65% of farms amounted to DM4 million.

The primary goal of the gathering was mobilization and agitation of youth at local level and their fu rther networking.
Forty-eight young people from Western Serbia (Loznica, Krupanj, Šabac, Vladimirci, Valjevo, Mionica, Ub, Užice, Bajina Bašta, Kosjerić, Arilje, Sremska Mitrovica) were present at the training.
Common conclusion was that the groups do not dispose with data on youth position, and that they are in need of such information so they could wield their position towards the environment they are engaged in, in an appropriate way.
