		band (pronounced "kay-yoo" kurz-under band) is a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the microwave range of frequencies ranging from 12 to 18 GHz.
		band is primarily used for satellite communications, particularly for satellite backhauls from remote locations back to a television network's studio for editing and broadcasting.
		The band is split into multiple segments that vary by geographical region by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

		Keep in mind, the offset lnb will require you to move the dish to "see" the satellite your primary Ku lnb is "seeing."
