Kukkarahalli Kare (lake) spread over 580,000 square metres is located in the heart of Mysore city.
It adjoins the University of Mysore, Kalamandir (and Rangyana), and the CFTRI campus (separated by the Hunsur Road).
Upgradation of the lake by the University of Mysore has added walkway around the lake (3.6 kms).
