This beautiful setting of "Kum Ba Yah" paints a musical picture of the text.
It begins with a simple legato accompaniment to the quiet prayer "Kum Ba Yah." Then the mood changes with each verse as the ringers listen for "Someone's Praying, Lord," "Someone's Crying, Lord," and "Someone's Singing, Lord." The piece ends as the simple prayer melody quietly returns.
