Tiger II - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Tiger II was partially derived from the Tiger I, and was intended to share many components with a planned Panther II, and supplied the basis for the Jagdtiger.
It weighed about 68 tons, and was protected by 185 mm of frontal armor, and was armed with the 88 mm KwK 43 L/71 gun.
The comparatively very heavy armor and powerful gun made the Tiger II effective in the ambush role against most British or American tanks on the Western Front, but slightly less so on the Eastern Front due to the greater numbers of heavily armored anti-tank vehicles.

While most of it appears very similar, there are some destinct differences in the penetration curves that the numbers produce, which seems to indicate that some of it is not actual firing data, but rather calculated data using some form of simplified formula (compared to both the CM formula and what others have posted).
It would be interesting if the CM people would post the 8,8cm KwK 43 APG test firing data that backs up their figures.
Looking at the 76mm, 90mm and 17pdr they all have a ratio between 0deg and 30deg around 1.20 to 1.30 while the 8,8cm KwK 43 is down at 1.08 to 1.14 and thus appears to be less effected by slope.

It was not one gun, but a series of anti-aircraft guns officially called the 8.8 cm Flak 18, 36 or 37, and could also include newer and more powerful models, the FlaK 41 and 43, although these were different weapons.
FlaK is a German short form of Flugabwehr-Kanone (hence the capital K, nowadays one word) meaning anti-aircraft gun, the original purpose of the eighty-eight.
A final adaptation let the FlaK 41 be mounted on the FlaK 37 carriage, known as the FlaK 37/41.
