Instead, Mr Kwek said that he would rather sell the two-tower development to individuals for between '$1,500 to over $2,000 psf' because 'they have been queuing up and knocking on our doors.
Still, Mr Kwek revealed that he has ambitious plans to buy the whole urban block that One Shenton sits on, which includes Shenton House and UIC Building.

KWEK Leng Beng, the Singaporean billionaire who brought Millennium & Copthorne Hotels to the stockmarket earlier this year, is in talks with Lonrho to buy its Metropole hotel chain for an estimated 250m.
Until last week Lonrho had been planning to float Princess Metropole, but postponed the float on Wednesday when it admitted it had received several offers for the separate businesses.
Kwek, who is chairman of Millennium & Copthorne, is thought to be extremely interested in Metropole, which owns five large conference hotels in Britain.

The company said in a statement released on the Singapore Stock Exchange that it would continue to provide advice to non-gaming aspects of Sands' proposal, especially in areas relating to design, development and construction planning.
