Tooru Nishimura or Kyo (京) is a Japanese musician and poet.
Kyo is very active on stage, and is known as a "small fuzzball of energy" in accordance to his height and the emotion he displays in his music.
July of 2006, it was in Japanese news that Kyo was hospitalized for inflamed tonsils.

Maybe he wouldn't be smearing fake blood and singing as though a vital organ were going to come up if he did so.
He should be respected because not many other singers can do that, although I'm sure poor Kyo's gonna ruin his vocal cords with all that screaming one day.
Finally, I agree that it doesn't set a very good example for the fans that Kyo dropped out of school, but it would really bother me if I thought Kyo cared about what others think enough to affect who he truly is and what he wants to do with his life.

The term "cosplay" comes from the English 'costume' and 'play.' Essentially, it is the act of dressing up/acting like your favourite musician or character.
In Harajuku many of the cosplayers cosplay 'visual kei' bands; the two pictures were cosplayed Chisato-Seijin (a character by a visual kei artist, Hakuei) and Kyo of the band Dir en grey.
