Kyocera 6035 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Kyocera 6035 was one of the (if not the) first smartphones to appear in the American market.
Originally built by Qualcomm and sold as the PDQ 800 (and 1900), then later as the QCP 6035, it was one of the first phones to combine a PDA with a mobile phone.
The successor to the 6035 was the Kyocera 7135.

The Kyocera 6035 was probably the most successful Palm OS Smartphone in the US, running a close race with the Handspring Treo models.
The Kyocera 7135 comes with a Phone application that you can launch by pressing the silkscreen Phone button, and it automatically launches when the phone rings and you open the flip to answer or plug in a headset.
The Kyocera comes with one user-replaceable 1200 mAh Lithium Ion battery (in comparison, the Treo doesn't have a user-replaceable battery), and claimed talk time is 3.5 hours and the standby time is 160 hours.

The Kyocera QCP 6035 is thin, lightweight, and pleasantly styled.
Any real review of the Kyocera QCP 6035 (at http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/kysmart/kysmart_series.htm) has to include a brief discussion of its predecessor, the pdQ smartphone.
I only owned the pdQ a few short months before upgrading to the QCP 6035, but during that time, it acquired a host of nicknames and monikers-the two best being the "Shoe Phone" (aptly named after Agent Maxwell Smart's innovative technology) and the "Brick" (simply because it was).

The gist of it is that you should come in from the middle of the case with your phone - pushing the Kyocera into the elastic bands at the top inside of the Slipper, and then adjusting the bottom leather around the inserted phone.
It is very important to set the keyguard by pushing in the infrared port button on the top of the Kyocera before you close the Slipper K. Otherwise, the cover of the case mashes against the buttons quite easily, and you may wind up making an unintentional call to Katmandu.
Otherwise, the EandB Slipper K is an interesting and welcome addition to the small family of accessories available for the Kyocera 6035.

HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - kyocera 6035 sprint to verizon logo change using pst
anyways, the 6035 being a PDA phone, i doubt it uses.bqr logo files, as do the sliders and the blades....but in any case, it is very tricky, but i believe it is possible....if you do mess it up however, you can end up screwing up things to where you might need to flash it..
I have the PST (phone support tooll) and there actually is an option where I can specify a carrier logo, so I hooked up a verizon 6035, saved the logo, hooked up the sprint one, and went to load the logo.
I am a verizon user and just got a sprint 6035, the verizon guy said I needed a sprint unlock code, could you help me, and tell me how you got as far as you did.
