It was established in 1945 and it distributes news to almost all newspapers, and radio and television networks in Japan.
The subdivision Kyodo News International founded in 1982 is located in Rockefeller Center, New York.

The research group measured the changes in the amount of blood flow in 10 people, five of whom have symptoms of hypersensitivity to electromagnetic waves.
In some cases, factors other than electromagnetic waves were said to be the cause of the illnesses.
