 'Pankaj worked his way carefully'
Pankaj AdvaniÂ’s tremendous victory gives India its sixteenth world title, fourteen in billiards and now two in snooker.
It will certainly give the game a further boost with a quantum surge of youngsters taking seriously to the game in the hope of becoming another Pankaj Advani instead of a Michael Ferreira or a Geet Sethi.
Pankaj on the other hand, had lost to UAEÂ’s greatly improved Mohammed Shehab and had the further mortification of losing to unheralded and unsung Hitesh Naran of South Africa in the league.
