The L and M class was a ((biology) a taxonomic group containing one or more orders) class of sixteen (A person who destroys or ruins or lays waste to) destroyers of the (additional info and facts about Royal Navy) Royal Navy, launched in 1939–1942.
The L class (also known as the Laforeys) were approved under the 1937 Naval Estimates.
Experience in the Meditteranean, especially that of Force K which contained two of the 4-inch 'L's, made a mockery of the idea, with the reduced weight of each shell being compensated for by the much higher rate of fire.

 DD-692 Allen M. Sumner class
The hull design followed the Fletcher class, although some designs were beamier and all were heavier, and there was a wide variety of small AA and torpedo armament.
However, claims by both Bureaus and several of the fleet's officers that the reduced torpedo armament was borne out by the developments of the war in Europe, where destroyer torpedo attacks had not taking place in any significant numbers, were rejected by the General Board in December 1941 letter calling for ten torpedo tubes.
In June 1944, twelve ships of the class were converted to minelayers, sacrificing their torpedo tubes and three 20mm guns in favor of 120 mines.

Each Constitution class heavy destroyer is capable of supporting two flights of heavy fighters or an entire squadron of light fighters.
In reality, this destroyer slightly exceeds the standard weight designation for a destroyer, but due to it's cross functional role and it's fighter support capability, the ALC and TDF have chosen to designate this type of capital to be a "heavy destroyer".

Since their debut GORGOROTH had been a synonym for cold, ugly Black Metal, for which even a hint of a melody was regarded as treason.
Accordingly "Destroyer" was praised as a masterpiece by the fans, but I still do not understand, why.
This album does not contain any compositional class, apparently they tried so hard to fill the songs up with nihilism and hatred, that they forgot that the listener wants something like a song, too...
