		L7 is an all-woman punk band whose name is derived from the slang expression.

		L7 was born in Los Angeles, in 1985, when a pair of guitarists/singers, Suzi Gardner and Donita Sparks, decided to start a band.
		The decided to call them self L7, whose name was taken from a slang term in the '50s that meant someone who was a "square".
		L7 continued to tour through the end of 1995, going to Europe with the Melvins before hooking up with the Warped Tour in the fall.
