	Liaison Committee of Militants for a Revolutionary Communist International - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		These groups were formerly members of Workers' Power's international tendency, the League for a Revolutionary Communist International who split in 1995.
		As of 2004, the LCMRCI appears to be defunct, as do the Peruvian and Bolivian groups.
		The Communist Workers' Group is seemingly in the process of developing new international links, under the framework of the Internationalist Trotskyist Fraction–Fourth International.

		Tony Benn has stated tonight that of course Serbia was wrong to use force against the Kosovans and to abolish their autonomy, but the attacks that have been launched by NATO are wrong because that is doing the same thing, and created a precedent of attacking a sovereign state.
		If we believe that it is in the interests of the working class that Serbian and Kosovan workers unite to solve their differences by non violent means, including the acceptance of self-determination, then full access to news information may be an important part of that process.
		No doubt even though Ivan Pavlovic opposes the LCMRCI's support for the Kosovans' right to self-determination, he would be interested in the concrete answer to the concrete question.

		It then added a group in New Zealand.
		After this growth the LRCI split with most of their supporters in New Zealand, all those in Peru and Bolivia and a few in Europe who formed the LCMRCI.
		At its international congress in 2003 it adopted a new programme and became the League for the Fifth International.

		The LCMRCI We are discussing with the Liaison Committee of Militants for a Revolutionary Communist International, a group of ex-LRCI members around New International in Britain and Europe, with groups in New Zealand, Bolivia and Peru.
		The willingness to seriously fight out political differences in a spirit of mutual co-operation seems to exist in the LCMRCI in sharp contrast to the LRCI.

		Reading from Neue Einheit's statement, the most action the group is committed to, is going on to a demonstration called by someone else, and giving out this propaganda article directing the main thrust against the hypocrisy of the greens.
		Is Neue Einheit, in Hugh Rodwell's apologetic words about LCMRCI, also > trying to build itself >a position in which the gaps between propaganda, agitation and direct >action shrink and eventually disappear ?
		It is a failure of small groups to address the needs of united front work, to clarify which united fronts they will work in, and within that context, make criticism of the position of others a secondary feature.

		I'm always banging on about South America because anyone who bothers to follow events there closely has to admit that the working class has indeed survived the end of history and is emerging as the maker of history in the 21st century.
		The CWG hooked up with the South Americans in the LCMRCI because they were involved in real revolutionary situations, and we wanted them to boot us up the arse and out of our comfort zone occasionally.
		THe LCMRCI is trying to set up something resembling the nucleus of an international with a bunch of other groups, the largest and most important of which is Democracia Obrero, which is active in occupied factories and piquiteros movements in Argentina.
