LDTV, which refers to the artist's term for "low definition television," is a collection of television fragments videotaped directly from the TV screen in an array of countries in which Asher has travelled.
LDTV reflects the nomadic character of Asher's work, while at the same time reproduces the effect of a satellite fixed in space, giving unlimited access to the world.
With vitality and humor, LDTV traces the speed at which Western culture is transmitted globally.

Dayton Historical Society Auction   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-15)
The first year's auction enabled the fixing of the foundation and the roof; now begins work on the interior and exterior walls, etc. The majority of the boards have been removed and sanded down and will be reused on the outside of the building and soon the cupola will be added.
There are many people to thank for the assistance on this second auction; first and formost are the folks at LDTV and kshn; without them we could not have held the auction as we did; we appreciate them greatly.
Next to thank are all the local Dayton businesses who donated their wares and services; then the people in and around Dayton who also donated personal items to help us get more money in.

Despite being hundreds of miles away, all three manufacturing plants in Tennessee, Virginia, and Arkansas are tied into the same InfoChannel network.
Content distribution from the headquarters to the branch offices was set up in advance via Scala's InfoChannel Network Manager and has worked so flawlessly that the process appears to run in the background as part of LDTV's daily operations.
"We could use InfoChannel to schedule the LDTV displays to shut off at night and turn on in the morning, but the Players run constantly without any problems so there hasn't been a need," admits Hunter.
