		Today LMR is a daughter company of Ludwig Freytag, a traditional construction company, which is already looking back in time, to more than 100 years of company history in Germany.
		LMR Drilling GmbH is the first German specialist to apply the horizontal directional drilling construction method and in a short time has gained a world-wide reputation as being amongst the elite in their field.
		LMR GmbH was one of the founding members of the DCA (in Europe) Drilling Contractors Association and GSTT German Society of Trenchless Technology.

		A LMR delegate takes part in the IST Event 2003 the European Comission's highly influential Information Society Technologies event which was held in Milan, Italy.
		The LMR exhibits at the CeBIT the current state of the BMBF research project "mQube" at the exhibition stand of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (hall 11 stand A24/B36).
		The LMR is officially recognised by the NRW Ministry for schools, further education, science and research (MSWWF) as a science and arts institution and is consequently an official department of the Academy for media arts in Cologne.
