La Ley also performed on (Click link for more info and facts about MTV Unplugged) MTV Unplugged and in 2004 released a greatest hits compilation (featuring three new songs) titled "Historias E Histeria."

Chilean rockers La Ley have evolved from an 80s techno band to a progressive rock power trio with one of the most charismatic frontmen in the business.
The band was formed in 1987 by Andrés Bobe (formerly of Paraíso Perdido) on keyboards and guitar and Rodrigo Aboitiz (formerly of Aparato Raro) on samplers and keyboards.
In 1995, La Ley released "Invisible" in tribute to Andres Bobé which contained some material by the late guitarist including the single "El Duelo" which was to become one of their signature songs..

La Ley are a Chilean pop rock band that started out in 1993 with a silly grunge/pop album called Doble Opuesto but didn’t got their regional fame in all of Latin America until the release of Invisible in 1995.
La Ley right now is comprised of Beto Cuevas (lead vocalist, egomaniac), Mauricio Claveria (drummer, terrible singer), and Pedro Frugone (guitarist, most talented member of the band).
La Ley managed to include most of their greatest (and not so greatest) hits, all of them with acceptable length (4-5 minutes).

The band has recently completed a 26 city U.S. and what seems to be catching the attention of most music industry insiders is the band’s ability to continue to keep it’s loyal Latino listeners while continuing to bring in new fans.
The band was resting up between tours and gearing up for a press barrage for it’s appearance on the 2003 MTV Latin American Video Awards show on October 23.
La Ley will be starting an extensive tour of Latin America later this fall after having recently just played a special fan-only Los Angeles concert in conjunction with Nissan this past Sept. 30th at the House of Blues.
