		De opera- en operettevereniging "La Mascotte" uit Emmeloord bestond op 27 januari 2006 25 jaar en wil dit jubileum vieren met deze bijzondere uitvoering.
		La Mascotte heeft voor deze productie een aantal professionele solisten gecontracteerd en een groot beroepsorkest (het Promenade Orkest) dat het geheel muzikaal zal gaan begeleiden.
		Voor de collega BOOG-gezelschappen is het wellicht interessant om te weten dat deze opera heel veel koorwerk bevat en dat dit werk inclusief zijn Nederlandse vertaling in de BOOG-Bibliotheek zal worden opgenomen en ook voor andere verenigingen beschikbaar zal komen.
