		La Salle County is named for René Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle, the French explorer.
		In the county, the population is spread out with 29.40% under the age of 18, 10.00% from 18 to 24, 27.70% from 25 to 44, 21.30% from 45 to 64, and 11.60% who are 65 years of age or older.
