It is interesting to note that rather than being centered and aligned along the centerline of the mezzanine, the booth in the LaSalle mezzanine is actually angled to the north, perhaps arranged to serve heavy traffic that was expected from LaSalle Street Station to the north.
Though much of the structural work of the Dearborn Subway was concurrent with that of State Street's (which was begun in 1938 and opened in 1943), construction on the Dearborn line was suspended in 1941 due to wartime materials shortages.
LaSalle was the end of the line until 1958 when the connecting Congress Line was completed, so trains turned through the diamond crossover to make the trip back to Logan Square.

LaSalle Street Station is a commuter rail terminal in downtown Chicago, Illinois, serving Metra's Rock Island District.
The previous structure was demolished in 1981 and was replaced by the current station and a new office high-rise for the Chicago Stock Exchange.

It is surrounded by Quincy (South), LaSalle (West), Adams (North) and I don't think it goes all the way through, but Clark would be the street on the East side.
Rookery's engraved street names do show the correct streets, LaSalle, Adams, Quincy, and whatever that alley-street is in the back (I can never remember).
The person who asked the question must have meant 208 S. LaSalle - which is across LaSalle Street from The Rookery Building and borders Wells, Quincy, Adams and LaSalle.

In a giant step forward for the civil engineering community, two sections of the pedestrian walkway on the LaSalle Street bridge have been replaced with glass-fiber-reinforced composite materials.
The goal is to familiarize the civil engineering community with composite materials and increase their use in infrastructure applications.
