		A 50-YEAR-OLD man and his wife were killed and 16 of their kin were injured when the jeep they were riding fell into a waterfall in Labangan town, Zamboanga del Sur Saturday night.
		Reports had it the jeep was traversing at the vicinity of Pulacan falls in Barangay Pulacan, Labangan town when it fell at the waterfall around 9:00 p.m.
		Officials said the 16 wounded were initially taken to the Kuta Cesar Lasangan Hospital and later transferred to the Zamboanga del Sur provincial hospital for treatment.

		THE Provincial Board of Basilan has expressed support to Zamboanga City’s stand opposing the transfer of the regional seat of government to Pagadian City and the relocation of the Southern Command to Labangan in Zamboanga del Sur.
