Her maternal grandfather was Casimir of Kuyavia, son of Ziemomysl of Kuyavia and Salome of Pomerelia.
Ziemomysl, Elisabeth's great-grandfather, was a Polish prince and the brother of Vladislav I of Poland, Louis's grandfather.
