Wu, who is paralyzed from the waist down and uses a wheelchair, collapsed during a recess in the trial proceedings at Taipei District Court.
Wu's eyes were closed and she did not appear to be moving.

Wu collapsed last Friday during the first court hearing of her trial for the alleged embezzlement of 440,000 US dollars in state funds in the past four years.
Wu was indicted in November on charges of corruption and document forgery, allegedly using receipts provided by others to make state fund reimbursement claims.
