 | | The only problem is that Laharl looks, err, really young (see picture on left) and simply isn't a match for the contending demons who want to claim the title of Overlord. |
 | | There's a bit of character death, and some standard schlup about Laharl's mother being a human who sacrificed herself to save Laharl, so, definitely, Disgaea doesn't fail when it comes to implementing the tried-and-true RPG epic dictum of betrayal, sacrifice, and maturity. |
