Lake Lanier Islands has a campground, but the sites are not as nice as any of the other ones mentioned and a little more pricey.
On the way to Lake Lanier Islands are a couple of other COE campgrounds that I want to try, but have not.
Our camping club camped at Bolding Mill which is also on Lake Lanier, but not close to the "resort" (if I remember correctly).
