Lakeland got on the board first with Chris Harper’s 7th goal of the season, an even strength tally from Garrett Dionne and Evan Levi at 5:23 of the first period.
Lakeland’s Rob Schweyer snapped David Goverde’s shutout late in the third but that was all the Loggerheads could muster as they drop to 4-18-4 on the season.

Alabama scored first in period one on a breakaway by Mike Craigen as Loggerhead goalie Carl Poissant was screened by his defenseman Bobby Clouston.
The Loggerheads answered back with two of their own second period goals when Owen Milliea scored assisted by Jim Callahan and Rob Schweyer.

Drug Prevention Resource Center will host its 12th Annual Red Ribbon Run Classic on Saturday, October 25th, at the Tigertown Complex on Lakeland Hills Blvd. Registration begins at 7 a.m., with an Open Race at 8 a.m., followed by the Challenged Run for children with disabilities and Grade Heats K-5.
The course is one mile, except for K-2 students, who will run one-half mile.
