I thought The Lakes series was absolutely brilliant and one thing that I have been trying to trace is what I remember to be the title music.
Having lived there all my life and unlike Paul (yes the area is small enough to know people by their first name and opinions) I am aware of all the incidents in the series occurring, even the deaths and affairs.
I would love to see another series, and yes, most people from the Lakes, would agree (especially my family involved in catering) as it is a great advert for the area and helps give all the locals real identity.

Until now, the police have been in charge of safety on the Lakes, although who actually does the rescuing varies from lake to lake.
The Coastguard will adapt to what is in place now, adding teams of volunteer coastguards around the lakes, with control from their Merseyside centre.
