Lough Leane (Irish Loch Léin) is the largest of the Lakes of Killarney, with Mucross Lake and the Upper Lake upstream of it.
The River Laune, is a river in County Kerry, Ireland, which flows from Lough Leane, one of the Lakes of Killarney, towards Killorglin and onwards into Dingle Bay.
The lakes are renowned for their trout fisheries.

The channel connecting Allen and Wolf Lakes is located at the west side of Allen Lake, across from the boat launch; it's hard to see until you're right on top of it.
Meadow Lake is not large, but the channel on to Kelly Lake is a little obscure and narrow, but passable through a deep valley, with the twin Irish Hills towers overlooking the lake.
The channel to Killarney Lake is immediately to the south after entering Kelly Lake.
